NOTE ON DISPOSAL OF OLD EQUIPMENT


Waste electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of with household waste! Since 24 March 2006, all waste electrical and electronic equipment (cables or batteries) has to be collected separately. The return is free of charge for private households at municipal collection points.
The addresses and opening hours of the municipal collection points can be obtained from your town or municipality. This regulation applies to all electrical and electronic equipment.

BATTERY DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS

In connection with the sale of batteries or the supply of equipment containing batteries, the seller is obliged to inform you of the following: You are legally obliged to return used batteries as end user. You can return batteries free of charge to the seller after use or at the designated collection points (e. g. in municipal collection points or retail stores). You can also return the batteries to the seller by mail.
The seller will reimburse you in any case the postage for the return shipment of your used battery. The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning:

DISPOSAL OF OLD Batterys

Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004 weight percent lead

Cd = battery contains more than 0.002 mass percent cadmium

Hg = battery contains more than 0.0005 mass percent mercury
